AI-powered drive health monitoring and diagnostic software for HDD & SSD drives

DA Drive Analyzer is AI-powered drive health monitoring and diagnostic software developed by ULINK Technology for HDDs and SSDs. Available for Windows PC, macOS, ASUSTOR NAS, and QNAP NAS, it replaces reactive, alert-only monitoring with predictive, data-driven risk assessment, helping users spot a failing drive before it actually fails, so they have time to back up data or replace the drive on their own terms.

Key Features

  • AI-based failure prediction: classifies each drive as At Severe Risk, At Moderate Risk, or Healthy using a machine learning model that reads multiple health signals together rather than one metric in isolation.

  • Threshold-based alerts: flags individual attributes, such as temperature, the moment they cross a defined limit, helping pinpoint the specific source of a health issue.

  • Multi-signal, trend-based analysis: combines S.M.A.R.T. data, system-level signals, and historical health trends instead of relying on a single point-in-time reading.

  • DA Portal integration: a companion dashboard for deeper drive health metrics, historical trend charts, and centralized visibility across multiple systems.

  • Offline-only mode: runs entirely on-device for environments where data security or limited internet access is a concern.

  • Broad drive compatibility: supports HDDs and SSDs across SATA, SAS, and NVMe interfaces, covering 99%+ of commercially available drive models.

How It Works

DA Drive Analyzer continuously reads a drive's S.M.A.R.T. data, system-level signals, and historical health information. Its machine learning model evaluates these signals collectively to detect patterns that often precede failure, producing an AI-based risk classification of At Severe Risk, At Moderate Risk, or Healthy, that gives users time to act before a drive actually goes down. Alongside this, threshold-based alerts watch individual attributes independently, so a spike in one metric (like temperature) is flagged immediately even if the broader AI assessment hasn't changed. Both alert types appear directly in the application, while DA Portal exposes the fuller history and metrics behind them. With offline mode enabled, this entire process runs locally, with no health data leaving the device.

What's New in This Version

DA Drive Analyzer has expanded steadily since its original 2021 release on QNAP NAS. ASUSTOR NAS support followed in 2024, a dedicated Windows PC application in 2025, and macOS support in 2026, extending the same AI-based prediction engine across every major platform users store data on.

System Requirements & Availability
