Tower Conquest is a free strategy mobile video game wherein you must conquer various enemy towers. Developed by Titan Mobile LLC, this 2D hero collection RPG game features a wide variety of colorful playable characters and a generative map system with ever-growing rewards as you continue to explore different worlds. It offers both single-player and multiplayer game modes—and even lets you play offline. However, the friendship system is tied with Facebook.

Deployment is key

The plot of Tower Conquest will hardly be the center of your attention when you start playing. After a comic book-style animation for an introduction cut-scene, you’re immediately sent to the menu for the tutorial. The gameplay consists of a side-scroller tower defense that’s similar to games like The Battle Cats. You have a tower on your left side that you must defend and an enemy tower on the right that you must destroy. 

You must strategically deploy your five recruited warriors to cut a path straight to the enemy tower. This requires careful rationing of your mana, as some of your units are pricier and will require you to keep upgrading your mana pool. They all vary in their playstyle and walking speed so the order of deployment can also affect the tide of battle. There are over 70 unique characters from five separate factions that you can collect.

Aside from the main campaign that offers various worlds, you can tackle Daily Challenges, do Daily Quests, join the League, and even enter the Arena for PvP at certain levels. However, the game lacks a real live multiplayer mode since you’re only fighting the data of another player. Sometimes, the matchmaking system pits you against an unfairly powerful player. Plus, you can’t add other players in the game—you can only do so via Facebook.

Needs a bit of polish

All in all, Tower Conquest is a great side scroller tower defense game, whether you’re a casual player or one who loves this genre. It offers enough daily features to keep you engaged even when you reach higher levels. Plus, you can battle other players and play even without an internet connection. However, its friendship system doesn’t support in-game friend requests. Plus, you often get paired up against players leagues ahead of your level.
