Torchlight III
A lighter, casual spin on classic dungeon crawling
Enter a whole new difficulty
Torchlight II: Synergies Mod is a free video game utility that fully revamps the gameplay of Torchlight II. Developed by salan and several other modders who joined the development team, this mod reworks several gameplay aspects of the vanilla game. It also adds new content to the game, turning it into a whole new experience for both new and old players alike. Take note, however, that Synergies’ sheer size can make it incompatible with other conversion mods in multiplayer.
Torchlight II is a 2012 action role-playing dungeon crawler video game developed by Runic Games. It is the sequel to Torchlight, and features peer-to-peer multiplayer support and extended modding capabilities. It continues the story of the first game, wherein the original protagonist ends up getting corrupted, and you must now help stop the chaos. However, despite several new updates, the game can still be improved with the help of amazing mods.
Synergies is a mod that fully takes the game to new heights. For one, it implements major changes to the game’s balancing. The difficulty settings have been tweaked to be much harder than the vanilla game, and there are random affixes to each monster now. Additionally, there are now 50 Fame levels, better gear, and better weapon bonuses. The original character skills, enchantment stats, and the skill unlock rate have also been adjusted.
There’s also new content offered here. You get two custom-made towns with specific vendors, a crafting system for endgame armor called Soulcrafting, several high-level dungeons, over 300 Legendary equipment, a few custom classes, and their associated pets, new monsters and bosses, a new UI, and even the ability to store gold and transfer it between characters. This mod focuses more on the endgame experience and provides more than enough features for it.
Overall, Torchlight II: Synergies Mod is a treat to play if you’ve finished the vanilla game on all difficulties and would like new challenges that will test your RPG knowledge. Offering both reworked gameplay and new features, this is a highly-recommended conversion mod to try out—most especially if you’re into the single-player mod more, as the multiplayer mode can cause problems with another conversion mod.
