Making the island your own 

Tomodachi Life™: Living the Dream lets you build the whole cast from scratch. Create Miis inspired by family and friends, or invent entirely new characters, even non-human ones. Each Mii can have a unique look, from hairstyle and hair color to eye shape, nose, and lips. It’s a playground for creativity, especially if you enjoy designing characters that reflect your imagination. 

Once your residents move in, the fun is getting to know them. Each has its own personality, likes, dislikes, and relationships, so you never know who will become best friends or bitter rivals. You’ll look after them too, giving them food, clothes, and gifts they love. Keep them happy, and their happiness gauge rises and they level up, which makes caring for them rewarding. 

The island offers more customization as you progress, with facilities like the home supply store, food mart, and clothing shop unlocking new ways to personalize your experience. MiiNews (MNN) also keeps you updated on island events. However, the interactions lack depth. Residents rarely act independently, and you often have to initiate their encounters yourself. Gossip seldom leads to meaningful drama, while news broadcasts can become repetitive.
