To Hell With The Ugly, developed by Arte France, is a full version adventure game that takes place in a 1950s LA film noir setting. The game follows the story of Rock Bailey, a young man who wakes up in a strange hospital after being drugged and kidnapped outside the Zooty Slammer jazz club. With the help of his journalist partner Gary, players must gather clues from crime scenes, solve puzzles, and explore the nooks and crannies of 1950s LA to unravel the mystery behind Rock’s kidnapping.

The game has a strong focus on narration and features turn-based combat based on timing, precision, and amazingly beautiful hair. Players will get to explore the hidden side of LA, a sordid and gruesome investigation centered around the disappearance of the city's most beautiful inhabitants and human experimentations. To Hell With The Ugly boasts stunning 2D graphics combined with fully animated cinematics and an incredible art direction, bringing the city of Los Angeles to life. The jazzy soundtrack adds to the game's immersive atmosphere. However, players should be aware that the game contains explicit nudity, hand-to-hand and weapon combat, light sexual content, and experimentation on humans.
