Time Bandit is a premium action game by developer MicroDeal Ltd. It is the remastered PC port of the classic 1980s shoot-em-up title of the same name. In it, players take on the role of a time-traveling adventurer in search of wealth and treasure across multiple times in history.

Time Bandit is a 2D top-down maze shoot-em-up adventure through time that boasts pixel graphics and interactive text elements for interactions and decisions. It can be played in solo or two-player co-op, with support for third-party controllers and full button remapping. You'll step into Timegates which will transport you to all kinds of locations, each with its own unique set of enemies and challenges to face.

It also comes with modern features like quick saves and various graphical filters for improved visuals. As for the actual gameplay, though, the game runs too fast in terms of actual speed and pacing, resulting in increased difficulty when facing enemies. It also crashes when entering the high score screen.

All in all, Time Bandit is a solid remastered port of the original game, with some welcome improvements to visuals and gaming features. However, the issues mentioned above hamper the experience and need to be fixed as soon as possible. For now, until those problems get solved, you're better off waiting or playing something else.
