There’s Nobody is a free simulation game from Gabrielndjldc that takes you through a horrifying experience during your stay at a hotel. This survival game is based on the viral short horror film, Knock Knock, which follows the same storyline of a woman hearing unexplained knocking sounds from her hotel room neighbor.

A bone-chilling plot 

There’s Nobody creates an atmospheric psychological horror storyline that’s both intriguing and spine-chilling.  Admittedly, the story is pretty short, especially since the media it was patterned after isn’t too lengthy, either. Approximately, each game session will last you less than half an hour at most. However, the story makes a great impact with subcontext and lore that you can look forward to uncovering. 

This indie title features liminal spaces which further add to the creepy vibe of the game’s location. It also makes use of retro graphics that are eerily similar to what you’ll find in original PlayStation visuals. New and casual players won’t have too much trouble getting the hang of the game either, since the controls are pretty easy to pick up.

However, certain scenes can be quite hazy, and when paired with an extremely low-light setting, can be difficult to see properly. It’s recommended to raise your device’s brightness to get a better view of the different areas available. You will also need to allow your device to run programs from unknown sources to avoid any issues during the installation process.

While some players can feel that the ending of There’s Nobody is abrupt, it’s actually fitting for its genre.
