Beautiful, customizable desktop widgets for Windows

What is Themia?

Themia is a desktop widget app for Windows 10 and 11. You place widgets on your desktop for things like email, calendar, files, weather, system stats, stocks, music, battery, notes, to-do lists, contacts, and RSS or GitHub feeds. They sit on your wallpaper, stay visible, and update on their own. No need to open anything else to check them.

It's built with Rust and a native WebView, not Electron. Under 10 MB, barely touches your RAM, installs in a few seconds.

How does it work?

Pick a widget from the library, drop it on your desktop, resize or move it wherever. Each one can be styled separately: colors, transparency, corner radius, spacing, whatever fits your setup.

There's a concept called "screens," which are saved layouts. You might have one for work with email, calendar, and system stats, another for home with weather, music, and notes. Switch between them with one click or a keyboard shortcut.

Everything updates live. Your inbox refreshes, calendar events show up as they get closer, CPU and RAM numbers change in real time, stock prices stream in throughout the day. You just look at your desktop.

What's included

Transparent widgets that blend into your wallpaper. Pin folders to your desktop and browse files without opening Explorer. Real time monitoring for CPU, RAM, GPU, disk, and network. Emails and calendar events visible without opening your inbox. Stock charts with live prices. Music playback controls. Notes and to-do lists that stay pinned. RSS feeds and GitHub repo activity. Full control over colors, transparency, gaps, and corner radius. Multiple layouts you switch depending on what you're doing. Drag and drop works natively, and there are global keyboard shortcuts to show, hide, or switch layouts.

Who is this for?

If you want useful information visible on your desktop without running a heavy customization tool, Themia does that. Developers use it to watch system resources and GitHub activity. Others keep email and calendar widgets up while they work. Some people just like having weather and notes pinned somewhere they can actually see them.

Pricing

There's a free tier: up to 5 widgets, one screen, and basic types like clock, weather, CPU, RAM, and notes. A one-time purchase unlocks everything, unlimited widgets, unlimited screens, all widget categories, up to 5 devices, and priority support. No subscription. You pay once.
