The Penumbra Collection is a first-person role-playing game which requires the player to take on the personality of a character named Philip. After the passing of his mother, Philip receives a mysterious letter from his dead father. The clues within this strange correspondence cause the young man to visit Greenland. However, the intrigue only deepens when he begins to unravel riddles found within increasingly disturbing environments.
