This realistic 3D experience is played from the first-person perspective, allowing users to be completely immersed in the game.

In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, you can join or form a team of explorers ready to set out on a journey to seek hidden treasures throughout the expanse of this game’s world. Select from a collection of weapons, melee and long-ranged alike, and other equipment to traverse the dense jungle until you reach the legendary underground world that houses riches unimaginable to man. 

Unfortunately, the journey to the legendary place is not easy. Since the world is inspired by Lovecraftian themes and elements, the path ahead is riddled with diabolical creatures and strange phenomena, paired with atmospheric tension and a sense of impending doom, shattering your and the rest of your crew’s grasp on reality and blurring the boundaries between what is real and what isn’t. 

The crew's survival depends on everyone's collective effort, not just one individual. Make sure there is clear communication, cooperation, and thorough assessments as you navigate the perilous jungle. In this expedition, the clear-headed and objective-oriented ones are the last men standing. Unfortunately, while the entire experience relies on co-op gameplay, this feature is only available online and does not support LAN play.
