In The Jedi Purge Mod, players get to experience the titular purge event that came after the execution of Order 66, turning the once-loyal Clone Troopers against their Jedi generals and companions. In a shocking twist, the tides of war turn against the galactic peacekeepers—and this premise plays heavily into the mod. You can play as a hunted Jedi or a clone trooper in a wide range of story conditions.

As such, the add-on features a lot of custom characters to present the experience from the vantage point of characters not included in the films or in the books. Additionally, there are new maps inspired by the world of Star Wars. From the forest moon of Endor, the insides of a Star Destroyer, to all-new maps that feel right at home for any Star Wars fan.

This mod works as a great bridge between the prequel and the original trilogies, and other media created in between but it still has its limitations. For one, it’s not optimized for all versions of the base game. There are restrictions with the animation and language support. Players have also reported bugs about floating weapons and the incomplete heads-up display appearing on some versions.
