The Eyes Of Beauty is a free visual upgrade mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition that enhances the appearance of the character’s eyes. It works on the same basis as The Eyes Of Beauty - Vampire Eyes SSE, The Eyes Of Beauty Fallout Edition, and Eye Normal Map Fix SSE. You can apply new textures and colors for each of the races in Tamriel, giving them a new appearance.

If you want to alter the preset eyes of NPCs, you’ll need to install the second package that deals with non-player characters. There’s also a section that offers upgrades for the Dawnguard DLC, but you can download it as a separate mod. In effect, it improves the appearance of vampires, making the eyes stand out more.

Giving your character a new look

As time goes on, graphics in older games become stale. The primary effect that The Eyes Of Beauty focuses on in Skyrim is the appearance of the main character’s eyes. It doesn’t matter which gender or race you’ve selected, as you can alter the texture of any of them in the editing menu, giving you more options.

Enhancements for NPCs

Of course, players have never had the chance to alter NPC appearances in Skyrim, unless they installed a mod that lets you do so. The Eyes Of Beauty lets you easily apply new colors to these characters in the game if you want them to look different. The developer regularly works on adding new colors over time.

Installation of packs

While both of these features add new appearances to Skyrim, you don’t need to use all of them. The Player and NPC packs are separate within the mod folder, and you can choose which one you want to use. If you want to alter the eyes of the vampires in Dawnguard, you’ll need to install The Eyes Of Beauty - Vampire Eyes SSE.

Beauty in the eye of the player

The Eyes Of Beauty is an excellent addition for Skyrim PC fans who want to change how specific races and genders look within the game. It doesn’t only work on the main characters, but you can alter the eyes of NPCs, too. 

It’s highly recommended if you’ve updated the game with weather or graphics mods.
