Legacy of the Dragonborn (Dragonborn Gallery) is a free mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It expands Skyrim with a range of new quests, items, and more. Its central feature is the Dragonborn Gallery museum, which acts as a hub for the new features.

The mod is comparable to other add-ons that unofficially expand Skyrim's features, such as the Skyrim Wyrmstooth Mod. However, Legacy of the Dragonborn presents itself as a particularly substantial mod regarding size and scope, capable of rivaling official Skyrim DLCs.

Enter the Dragonborn gallery

The Legacy of the Dragonborn is centrally focused on the Dragonborn Gallery, a museum curated by the non-player Auren Morellus character. The NPC will be your guide as you gather relics on missions that send your character on all-new quests. Explore ruins, take part in digs, and meet new characters in the world of Skyrim.

More than 3,200 museum displays

The Dragonborn Gallery includes a total of more than 3,200 various displays. Over 100 of them are tied to specific questlines and achievements you need to win throughout the mod's course. You can also obtain custom paintings.

An element of horror

Legacy of the Dragonborn will interest many players looking to expand the world of Skyrim, but bear in mind the mod includes a horror-themed quest. It's horrific enough to warrant a warning on the mod's official webpage. The quest is optional, though, so sensitive players can disable it from the pack.

A novel idea for a mod

Besides an expansive range of additional gameplay elements, including many questlines and objects, Legacy of the Dragonborn's (Dragonborn Gallery) central museum is a novel concept. The fact that victories are rewarded in the game with new displays adds even more to its appeal.
