The Darkest Tales — Into the Nightmare by Trinity Team is a free-to-play prologue game available on Nintendo Switch that will take you on a high-stakes journey through a nightmarish realm of sinister dreams and distorted childhood fairytales. You will join a stuffed bear named Teddy and his magical fairy sidekick Lighty on their quest to rescue Teddy’s now grown-up owner, Alicia.

The game is set in recognizable yet distorted fairytale worlds, where you will encounter familiar characters from childhood bedtime stories, but don’t expect any hugs and kisses. You will have to hack, slash, and dash your way through hostile lands crawling with deadly traps and bloodthirsty monsters. Each chapter is rife with combat, obstacles, and secrets, testing your skills against tough opponents to bring back hope to dreamlands now engulfed by the forces of evil.
