Tachimanga's main feature is that it supports a variety of digital formats for any manga — primarily ZIP, CBZ (Comic Book Zip Archives), and EPUB formats — which allows the user to upload their own digital manga formats for their own reading leisure. Alternatively, they can also download manga from outside sources and read them via this app. Sites such as Komga are compatible with it. 

Another main feature of the app is that it allows users to upload and store digital manga through Apple's iCloud Drive service — giving users even more freedom to choose how to store their manga, whether online or offline. The downside is that the app is not compatible with Google Drive or any other cloud service, so it limits the users’ choice of file source.
