Super Animal Royale is a 64-player, top-down 2D battle royale game developed by Pixile Studios. It combines fast-paced gameplay, adorable animal characters, and a charmingly illustrated world to create a unique and engaging multiplayer experience. You’ll enter an abandoned safari park where they must scavenge for weapons, armor, and items to become the last animal standing.

This Super Animal Royale action game offers a variety of features that set it apart from traditional battle royale titles. The extensive customization options allow you to collect and customize hundreds of animal breeds with thousands of cosmetic items, weapons, outfits, and umbrellas. 

A fur-filled battle for survival

Super Animal Royale's gameplay is intense and competitive. You’ll engage in strategic combat, utilizing precise controls and quick reflexes to outmaneuver opponents and secure victories. The addition of whimsical elements, such as rolling in Hamster Balls or riding Giant Emus, adds a fun and unpredictable aspect to the battles. The world of SAR is beautifully illustrated, and you can explore the 2D island to uncover its hidden lore. 

Engaging with the island's inhabitants and carefully examining the environments can reveal intriguing narratives and clues, enhancing the immersion and offering a deeper layer to the game. Regular content updates ensure that the game stays fresh and exciting. You can expect new seasonal outfits, additional animal breeds, and unique weapons to be introduced regularly, providing ongoing incentives to continue playing and discovering new content.

While the entirety of the game can be enjoyed as a solo player, the game truly shines when played in squads of up to four players. Cooperative gameplay allows for strategic coordination, communication, and teamwork, adding an extra level of depth and enjoyment. However, as a top-down 2D game, SAR has a limited perspective compared to other battle royale games.

A plethora of updates and new content

Since its release, Super Animal Royale has seen multiple updates that include patches for bugs and issues being reported by players. Some include new content that builds upon the base game with features and mechanics, as well as special events that everyone can participate in and enjoy. There are also some UI improvements to gameplay that make it easier to navigate in-game elements.

The real highlight of these updates is the seasonal events that introduce additional Super Animals Breeds for you to unlock and control in battle. Some of the ones you can expect to see are the Super Dragon and Super Rhino breeds, available once you meet the level requirements. They are complemented by a set of new gear, maps, and challenges to make the most out of the experience.

As of this writing, the more recent update is Season 11, also known as the By Popular Request update released based on player feedback and frequent requests. While it does add even more Super Breeds to the mix, the majority of the content has been dedicated to cosmetics items and gear sets, and more fun-filled challenges for players to complete to receive bonus rewards.
