StaySafe is an official mobile app of the DILG and the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ITF-EID) in the Philippines that provides an electronic platform for reporting and transmitting information of possible cases of COVID-19.

A contact tracing application (CCD), it is designed to assist in identifying the contacts of COVID-19 cases. Upon infection, contacts and suspected cases are also placed under a 14-day self-monitoring period and are required to inform the government if they experience COVID-19 symptoms. The contact list can also be used for early identification and management of possible COVID-19 cases.

It is based on the GAEN feature and allows the patient to share their exposure with the contacts in their phonebook. 

What is the StaySafe app?

It is the official contact tracing mobile app of the DILG and the ITF-EID in the Philippines. Once you install it, it automatically activates the Bluetooth of your device and you can use it as long as you have Bluetooth activated.
