The enemies, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and Slavic folklore, include terrifying beings such as Shoggoths and Rusalkas. The game also features a cast of quirky sailors with whom you can interact, barter, and even take on side quests. 

These side quests range from solving criminal cases with Detective Sherlock Holmes to exploring haunted cathedrals and searching for hidden treasures. You’ll find many secrets hidden within the submarine, like sliding bookshelves that reveal hidden rooms and vents that contain strange treasures. Survival is key; you must manage your limited ammo supply and keep your sanity intact as you face the relentless horrors of the deep.

However, the mature content in the game includes graphic depictions of violence and slight sexual innuendo in some of the readable materials. The game’s complexity and the need for resource management may be challenging for new players. The submarine setting can feel restrictive and may not appeal to players who prefer open-world exploration. Some players may find the difficulty uneven, with certain sections being significantly harder than others.
