Smart-Hadir is an educational app for Malaysia’s public university, University Malaysia Sabah (UMS). It eliminates the need for manual attendance recording, therefore reducing errors and making attendance taking faster and more convenient for students and staff. Unfortunately, some users have experienced issues with logging in.

Never lose your ID

As a digital attendance management platform, Smart-Hadir allows students and school employees to mark their attendance by tapping the “Beacon” button. It also includes a QR code-supported digital ID of a staff or student, reducing cases of lost physical IDs. 

The app is mired with a couple of technical issues, though. For instance, some users have experienced frequent crashes when installed on certain devices. This issue also occurs when the individual checks for attendance or views their ID.  Attendance records can go missing, too.

Annoying technical hiccups

Overall, Smart-Hadir is a convenient tool that ensures faster attendance checking for students and employees of UMS. Users will also have access to their digital student or employee ID. Unfortunately, the technical issues are its drawbacks, with users reporting crashes or missing attendance records.
