SKATOR GATOR is a free 2D action-filled racing game developed by Weathered Sweater for desktop. What’s unique about this game is that the main medium used to race is skateboards instead of cars—which has been prevalent in the racing game market for the longest period of time. There are more than 20 levels for you to unlock and each of them differs in the game environment. Within those levels, you will need to surpass 9 stages, as well, and you have to be fully prepared for different circumstances. Your major goal here is to finish the race as fast as you can and try to beat the staff time in each round.

Race to save your swamp

SKATOR GATOR’s storyline revolves around an alligator who’s trying to protect his swamp as greedy capitalist robots attempt to ruin it in order to make a mini-golf course. You will aid the alligator in stopping them by skating across their oil pipelines towards the city. Unlike most skateboard games, you’ll be skating on high octane 2D lane-based platforming.

The route to the finish line is not as easy as you think. You will encounter tons of obstacles—mushrooms, oil leaks, green mosses, robotic creatures, and more—and you have to avoid them as much as possible. It will only take a single bump for you to die in the game. however, there are also some items that will be available in certain rounds that can help you surpass the hindrances.  

To earn new skins for your alligator, it is important to gather the eggs seen in the game levels—and you can release 5 different gators into the swamp. Unfortunately, if you wish to enjoy this along with your family or friends, no multiplayer mode is offered. Nevertheless, it is still a highly suggested game to download and even donate to—as all of its proceeds will go towards a great environmental benefit that safeguards alligator habitats through wetland conservation.
