It’s much more simplified in its functions compared to other digital currency wallets but it does its job well enough for those who simply want to buy and sell.

Is Shakepay safe?

Fully titled “Shakepay: Buy Bitcoin in Canada,” this mobile app pretty much does what it’s named for. You get to buy and sell Bitcoin (BTC) using the app. Aside from that, Ether (ETH) and Canadian dollars (CAD) are also supported. To start off, you need to set up your account. Verification can be instant and you don’t have to wait for days for your account to be approved.

Like other similar apps, you can add funds to the market or transfer them. This is a function that’s immediately available to you, as there are no fees for funding or withdrawals—this platform covers your fees for all outgoing transactions. The funding options include Interac e-Transfer, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and EFT & Wire Transfer. Meanwhile, you can either send money to your contacts or cash out to your bank. 

There are other nice features, too, such as setting up price alerts and notifications. You can also be assured of the app’s security since it employ email verification, two-factor authentication, and passcodes. However, much of the issues with this app lie with its lack of more in-depth features. It’s limited in functionality, as you can check out the current prices but you can’t track user data or cryptocurrency data.

However, it’s not as functionally-diverse as its rivals and falls short of features that veteran cryptocurrency buyers and sellers would have appreciated in it.
