Senua's Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced was released last August 12, bringing the cinematic experience to a wider audience. This updated version will be a free update for existing owners on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam, while also marking its debut on the PlayStation 5. The new edition includes a Performance Mode, allowing for smoother gameplay at 60 FPS on most platforms.

The enhanced edition introduces several new features, including the challenging Dark Rot mode, which offers an additional layer of difficulty for returning players. Additionally, an improved Photo Mode with new tools for cinematic video capture and over four hours of developer commentary has been included. The update also brings Steam Deck Verification, making the game officially supported on the handheld for Steam Deck players.
