In Seed of Pandora: Legend of the Gaia Tree, you step into the Kingdom of Garda, a land where life itself stems from the mythical Gaia Tree. The story follows the Gaia Sect, a group once entrusted with protecting the sacred tree before being exiled for misusing its power. After a century of peace, new conflicts emerge, pulling you into a tale of betrayal and power struggles. 

The game’s vibrant 2D anime cutscenes bring this world to life, creating a visually rich experience. Battles are fast-paced and turn-based, demanding strategy over brute force. However, while the game starts with a strong narrative, the pacing falters mid-game, rushing toward its conclusion. Additionally, equipment upgrades are scarce, with only three of the four playable characters receiving a single upgrade.

A strong foundation with some missed opportunities
