Seasons of Chiba is a premium role-playing game from developer Hataka Games. It's a casual JRPG experience with life sim elements that focuses on a burnt-out man going back to his hometown only to find it's no longer how he remembered it. He must come to terms with the changes and welcome a fresh start with the help of the townspeople.

In Seasons of Chiba, you have come to realize life didn't turn out as expected, and you start missing your hometown. However, the years have brought many changes, and with them a feeling of disconnectedness and longing for what once was. Your attempt at a new beginning is off to a rough start. 

Interact with a rich cast of characters, all of whom are trying to help you settle in and acclimate. Beneath the calm, though, lies a struggle for economic growth while trying to preserve the beauty and sanctity of nature. Your actions and choices will help shape this ideal. As a side note, the game is still in Early Access, so it will not be the full experience yet.

Overall, Seasons of Chiba is a more casual take on JRPGs with a heartfelt story and some underlying themes that explore belongingness and finding meaning in life. If you like these types of experiences, go check this one out. Hopefully, the full release will be available sooner rather than later.
