River City Ransom is an action-packed game for the Nintendo Switch platform developed by Technōs Japan. In this game, players take on the roles of Ryan or Alex, who must fight their way through various gangs to save Ryan's girlfriend and confront the evil Slick, who has taken over the high school.

The game is a side-scrolling beat-em-up, similar to Double Dragon. Players travel through River City, encountering various gangs along the way. The gangs can be defeated with punches, kicks or objects scattered around. Upon defeating the gangs, players earn money which can be used to buy items that restore health and improve combat abilities. The main characters have RPG-like stats that can be improved by buying books to learn combat manoeuvres. To complete the game, players must defeat all the bosses.

The Game Boy Advance port of the game has added features like the ability to recruit defeated bosses to fight alongside the player and new weapons. It also features different gangs.
