Retro Invaders is a retro-styled arcade game that replicates the classic gameplay of Space Invaders. Just like in the original Space Invaders, you take command of a spaceship and shoot down wave after wave of gradually advancing alien spacecraft, taking cover behind handy fortifications. In this version of the classic, you can play either solo or together with a partner.

A solid clone of the original

If you've played Space Invaders before, you'll be familiar with the elements of Retro Invaders' gameplay. You move your ship left to right, shooting at the enemies as they advance in a regular pattern. If they reach the bottom of the screen, you'll lose. There isn't much more to it, but if you're familiar with Space Invaders -- and most people are -- you'll know what to expect.

Simple but fun

There isn't much more to Retro Invaders than a Space Invaders clone. If you're a fan of the simple, classic gameplay of the original, of course, that's not necessarily a problem. This version of the game feels smooth and easy to use.
