Raiders of Valhalla - Prologue is a free action game for PC coming from developer Afil Games. It is a 2D side-scrolling adventure featuring Viking dwarves and a dark fantasy setting. In it, players will lead a group of warriors on a quest to explore and conquer faraway lands.

Similar to games like Backpack Battles or Dice Kingdoms, Raider of Valhalla - Prologue incorporates auto-battler mechanics into its core gameplay. Players can try out this demo version and if they like the experience, watch out for the full game that is slated to arrive sometime in Q2 2024.

Fearless Vikings

Raiders of Valhalla - Prologue takes place in a fantasy world wherein you will take charge of a group of Dwarven Vikings given a divine decree of ridding the land of various creatures and monsters, all for the glory of reaching Valhalla. Choose from diverse warrior classes to build an army that will be able to take on all kinds of challenges and threats.

Journey through multiple biomes with distinct environments and a host of enemies to face and defeat. Level up to invest in various warrior abilities, utilize divine blessings, and collect legendary equipment to increase your power to take on powerful bosses for rewards. As mentioned, the game features auto-battler mechanics that carry the fight on even when you're out of the game, so no progress is lost.

There's also a forge system that lets you craft your own special gear, as well as the ability to take pet companions with you to help in fights. Now, if you enjoy your time with this demo, you sadly have to wait for a while longer for the full game since it's not out yet. Its release date is also quite vague with a planned Q2 2024 launch window.
