Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown - Mask of Darkness allows you to finally confront the assassin Radjen, whose storyline was left unresolved in the base game. This DLC offers more than just a narrative extension — it introduces an entirely new biome packed with innovative traversal mechanics, traps, enemies, and more.

A new chapter in Sargon’s journey 

Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown - Mask of Darkness delves into the backstory of a character largely overlooked in the main game. In the base game, Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown, the narrative centers on a group of Persian heroes known as The Immortals, who embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped prince at the time-warping Mount Qaf.  

In the DLC, players once again step into the shoes of Sargon, who must now face several of his former allies, The Immortals. One such ally is Radjen, an assassin who briefly appeared in the main game, although it wasn’t fully explored. This DLC focuses entirely on Radjen, as Sargon finds himself trapped in her mind palace after confronting her.  

As the story unfolds, Sargon uncovers Radjen’s tragic past and is forced to confront the reality that she remains imprisoned by her trauma. Here, players can explore four new biomes, 10 brand-new platforming mechanics like lethal traps, and six enemy types. Combat gets a boost as well, with new Amulets that enhance Sargon’s abilities. However, the DLC lacks a character development system, which is not ideal for players who prefer gameplay driven by character progression.

For players who love the base game, Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown - Mask of Darkness is a must-try DLC. This pack lets you delve deeper into Radjen’s character, including his past and his trauma. It offers a new plotline to the fans of the main game while providing a new improved combat system using the new Amulets.
