Predecessor is an action game. It is a free-to-play online game that mixes shooter action with strategy. It takes inspiration from an older game called Paragon and is powered by Unreal Engine 5, giving it impressive graphics. It allows players to choose from over 35 different characters, each with special abilities, like shooting through walls, turning invisible, or launching rockets.  

Predecessor follows a traditional multiplayer online battle arena structure, where players battle in a three-lane map. The goal is to team up with others, destroy the enemy's core, and defend your own by taking down towers and controlling the battlefield. 

Master the battlefield 

Predecessor offers a third-person perspective, meaning you see the action from behind your character, making it feel more immersive. The maps also have vertical elements, which adds more strategic depth and excitement to the gameplay. You can play with up to four other players on your team. Working together is important, as you'll need to coordinate to win big team fights, capture objectives, and secure victory.  

As you play, you earn gold and experience points, allowing you to buy items and improve your character's abilities, making them stronger. The game is designed for both new and experienced players. If you're new to this type of game, you can start with simpler roles or characters, while experienced players can push their skills by mastering tougher heroes. It brings together beautiful graphics, exciting gameplay, and a welcoming community. 

However, while it is accessible to beginners, mastering certain heroes can be challenging and might deter less experienced players. As with most MOBAs, the game is heavily reliant on teamwork. A single weak link or lack of communication can lead to frustrating losses. Currently, the game focuses on the traditional three-lane MOBA format, which may feel repetitive for players looking for more diverse modes.
