Crude sandbox shooter with chaotic freedom
POSTAL 4: No Regerts is an open-world first-person shooter set in the fictional town of Edensin, Arizona. Developed by Running With Scissors, it continues the series' legacy of dark satire and crude humor. Players control the Postal Dude as he attempts to rebuild his life by completing daily errands—peacefully or violently—in a world that rewards absurdity and embraces offensive comedy.
POSTAL 4: No Regerts delivers an open-world sandbox where players tackle absurd daily tasks across five in-game days. Objectives can be completed peacefully or with unfiltered violence, leading to unpredictable results. A mix of conventional and bizarre weapons—such as air freshener flamethrowers and cat silencers—amplifies the chaos. While the freedom adds replay value, uneven mission design and frequent bugs can disrupt the overall experience, especially during longer play sessions.
The game’s cartoonish visuals match its crude, satirical tone, featuring exaggerated character models and garish environments. However, technical issues are hard to ignore. Frame rate drops, long loading times, and occasional crashes affect performance, particularly on mid-range PCs. Voice acting varies in quality, and minor audio glitches may break immersion. While the style fits its comedic intent, a lack of polish makes the experience feel unstable in key areas.
POSTAL 4: No Regerts thrives on giving players full control over chaos, with irreverent humor and sandbox freedom at its core. While fans of the series may appreciate its offensive comedy and mission variety, others may find the crude tone off-putting and the technical shortcomings too frustrating. It's a niche experience aimed at those who enjoy dark, unfiltered games that don’t take themselves seriously.
