Plannes
Virtual reality, zero-gravity tennis, set in a planet-hopping sci-fi universe.
The game describes itself as zero-gravity tennis, and while there is a ball to knock about and you use a racket, the similarities pretty much stop there. First off, you have two rackets, each controlled by a hand. The ball is not played on a court setting, instead the action takes place in a tunnel the sides of which allow you to ricochet your hits into all possible angles. The ante is upped further by having special items and targets you need to hit in the tunnel, as well as obstacles which will send your ball straight back at you. The action is fast-paced, frenetic and fun. Points you earn by winning matches are used in soft-RPG elements in which you planet hop and upgrade/purchase new rackets to use,
Plannes was released in 2016. The game might surprise you, especially in terms of presentation. However, the last update was in 2017 and recent users have started to notice some connection issues when it comes to the latest VR technology. So, you might need to consider compatibility issues before you leap into Plannes.
