Paediatric Emergencies is a full version Android application designed to provide healthcare professionals with time-critical information needed while treating an acutely unwell child. The application covers more than 30 emergencies, including anaesthesia, analgesia, anaphylaxis, asthma, burns, and many more. The app includes algorithms from several reputable organizations such as the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), Resuscitation Council (UK), and the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, among others.

One of the most important design features of this app is the ease of use and navigation. The user can enter the age of the child in years, months, and days or as the date of birth. If the weight of the child is unknown, the application provides an estimated weight using the Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) formulae or the 50th centile for age and sex from World Health Organisation (WHO) growth charts.
