It’s a pixel art auto-battle RPG adventure, in which players will lead a team of heroes as they traverse a fantasy land and face fierce monsters and enemies. It relies heavily on gear and equipment optimization through a puzzle-like placement system to create the best loadout for every encounter.

In Overgeared Hero: Merge RPG, you lead a squad of heroes on an adventure through a fantasy land to face all kinds of enemies. You’ll rely on gear and a backpack system with strict storage limitations to create different loadouts to complement your heroes’ skills. Merge duplicates to upgrade tier levels and experiment with different inventory arrangements for offensive or defensive strategies, depending on the opponent at hand. 

Unlock legendary gear and expand your backpack as you progress to allow for new and additional strategies. You can even train pets to help in your fights and engage in online PvP duels to test your builds against other players. Some points of criticism include the low energy/stamina system, which limits playtime, and the lack of a proper tutorial to help new players ease into the game.
