Official Sim Settlements Horizon Balance Patch is a mod for Sim Settlements and Horizon. It is an official attempt to balance Sim Settlements a little better for Horizon. It contains two files: one with hand-made edits and the other with auto-generated edits using a xEdit script.

It contains many different changes to Sim Settlements and Horizon. Some of these changes are as follows:

The items and resources of the game have been changed. The way the items and resources are used has been changed.

The following major areas where Sim Settlements and Horizon could work together more seamlessly are covered by the auto patch.
1. DEF UI prefixes have been added to the appropriate books, holotapes, food, beer, etc.
2. Chemicals, alcohol, and food products were also correctly nerfed or enhanced to reflect their Horizon equivalents. This entails taking away endurance bonuses, lowering strength, luck, and charisma bonuses, lowering value, etc.
