The Difficulty and Realism Overhaul mod's purpose is to make the world easier to navigate and easier to escape the wilderness. It is a survival game that is easier to play.

Not just the ones you can pick up—ALL weapons are adjusted by this patch. NPC health is more evenly distributed, Turrets are deadly, and previously amusing things like Vertibirds are now very hazardous. The overall difficulty is increased.

The first thing you will notice is that the world is easier to navigate. The second thing is that you can use a different weapon for each fight. The third thing is that the enemy is harder to defeat.
