The path to freedom

For those who are not familiar with the game, the Mudokon is a race that has long been enslaved by the greedy Glukkons. In Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, players are introduced to Abe, an unassuming Mudokon who happened to discover the truth behind RuptureFarms. After discovering that his workplace is a slaughterhouse made to turn Mudokons into processed meat, Abe embarks on a quest to free his fellow Mudokons and successfully leads their escape. However, their freedom is short-lived as Glukkons try to come after them. This is where Oddworld: Soulstorm enters the picture. Faced with the inescapable reality, players will join Abe in leading the Mudokons in a fight against their oppressors. Of course, it is not going to be easy especially with the unexpected twist Oddworld: Soulstorm has. 

The true evil

From the title itself, Soulstorm will give you a lot of problems in this game. In an attempt to contain the Mudokons, the Glukkons have developed an addictive drink that makes Mudokons very obedient and dependent on them. Guess what the drink is called? It is Soulstorm! But do not worry because while the drink is made to put you at a disadvantage, you can actually turn the tides in your favor by taking advantage of its other dangerous aspect aside from being an addictive drug. Soulstorms are flammable and can be used as a weapon! Construction and crafting is part of the gameplay, meaning that Abe will be able to create deadly explosives with Soulstorm plus a few other things like lighters.
