NowPlay is an online board game table that's always set. It's a free, browser-based platform for playing board and card games against friends or matched opponents. There are no downloads, no setup and teardown, and no arguments over the rules. The server enforces every rule, scores every game and keeps track of your rating.

You can play two ways. Live matches pair you with a real opponent in seconds, and turn clocks keep every game moving. Slow games are async, correspondence-style matches with hours or days per move. You can run several at once, and NowPlay nudges you when it's your turn. Play live when you have twenty minutes, or by correspondence when you have twenty seconds.

Competitive players get ranked seasons. Every ranked match moves your rating, and you can climb the leaderboard and enter open tournaments. Your peak rank stays on your profile as a permanent trophy.

NowPlay also helps you improve. Daily puzzles, guided lessons and full match replays with best-move analysis help you get sharper a few minutes at a time. Because rules are enforced automatically and lessons teach as you play, new players can join a table without ever reading a rulebook.

The first live game is Mohur, a two-player trading card game. Bao, Gin Rummy, Backgammon, Hearts, Othello, Spades and 7 Wonders Duel are in development, and the community votes on which arrives next.

Every game, ranked play and open tournaments are free. An optional Gold membership adds unlimited async games, permanent replays with analysis, and cosmetics. It never affects matchmaking or gameplay. Sign in with Google, Discord or a passkey and start playing.
