NorEx is a research project that is a collaboration between all health regions and hospitals in Norway. It is aimed to find out how long-term exercise affects health and prognosis in persons with a previous heart attack.

What are the results of the research project?

We have found that a large number of people who suffer from a previous heart attack find it difficult to get back to normal physical activity, even if their heart attacks have been resolved. In addition, many of the people who have had a heart attack are not able to exercise because of fear of having another heart attack.

Our research project, NorEx, aims to help these people get back to normal physical activity and also enable them to communicate with their trainer or other people in their community who are also doing physical activity.
