Multi-protocol tunneling core

NetMod VPN Client is a network utility that routes internet traffic through configurable tunnels using multiple protocols and transport methods. It operates as a multi-tunneling system, enabling connections through SSH, V2Ray, Trojan, Shadowsocks, OpenVPN, and WireGuard within a single interface.

NetMod VPN Client includes an HTTP Payload Generator that constructs custom request headers, along with a Response Replacer that alters returned data after transmission. It applies system-wide VPN routing, directing all device traffic through configured tunnels rather than limiting activity to a single application. Additional tunneling layers, such as SSL/TLS, WebSocket, and DNS-based methods, extend how connections are formed and masked.

Network configuration modules

NetMod VPN Client integrates multiple tunneling protocols under one interface, where each protocol operates through independently configurable parameters. The system processes SSH-based forwarding alongside VMess, VLess, and Trojan connections, each requiring defined endpoints, ports, and encryption settings. Shadowsocks and ShadowsocksR configurations include cipher selection and authentication fields. OpenVPN and WireGuard profiles rely on imported configuration data. Each protocol module runs within the same routing layer, allowing switching or combining.

The software includes several transport-layer tunneling methods that modify how traffic is carried across networks. SSL/TLS tunneling encapsulates traffic within encrypted layers, while WebSocket tunneling packages requests into standard web traffic formats. SlowDNS (DNSTT) converts data into DNS queries for transmission through restricted networks. These methods operate as wrappers around selected protocols, altering packet structure and routing behavior.

A built-in configuration editor provides access to payload construction and response handling. The HTTP Payload Generator allows manual entry of request lines, headers, and injection formats used during connection setup. The Response Replacer intercepts incoming data and substitutes defined values before processing. Configuration files can be imported and exported, storing protocol settings, payload rules, and tunneling methods in a single package. However, it lacks automated configuration generation tools.

Advanced tunnel control

NetMod VPN Client combines multiple tunneling protocols, transport methods, and configuration tools within a single routing system. It includes payload construction, response modification, and full-device traffic tunneling. The software supports layered transport techniques such as SSL, WebSocket, and DNS-based routing. Its structure depends on manual configuration files and protocol parameters. However, it lacks automated configuration generation tools.

  • Pros

    • Built-in HTTP payload construction tool
    • Response modification through the replacer module
    • System-wide VPN traffic routing
  • Cons

    • Lacks automated configuration generation tools
