Nancy Drew: The Captive Curse is the 24th entry in the Nancy Drew series, and like the others it is a point-and-click adventure, which requires users to solve puzzles to progress the story. The plot itself is loosely based on the novel 'Captive Witness', with players taking on the role of the title character, a teenage amateur detective, as she attempts to solve the mystery of a legendary monster, said to terrorize residents at a German castle.
