In Nachtmahr, you take on the role of a mythical unicorn, traversing five ethereal realms steeped in magic, mystery, and solitude. Here, you spend most of your time running through vast, misty landscapes, often empty and confusing. The puzzles, while initially intriguing, quickly become repetitive and disconnected from the story. With frequent frame drops, exploration becomes frustrating. The world feels lonely in an unfinished and lacking meaningful detail way.

Nachtmahr provides a visually ambitious world with a unique concept, but its empty environments, repetitive puzzles, and technical issues hold it back. If you like mystical and poetic exploration-based gameplay, Sword of the Sea and Spirit of the North 2 are better options.
