The third installment in the My Time series

My Time at Evershine is a single-player role-playing game and the latest addition to the life-simulation genre, offering players a charming blend of farming, crafting, exploration, and town-building mechanics. Building on the success of My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock, this game continues a relaxing and immersive experience. It allows players to carve out their own lives while interacting with a diverse cast of characters.

My Time at Evershine works similarly to Once Human, DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2, Goat Simulator 3, and The Hungry Lamb: Traveling in the Late Ming Dynasty—which all provide an RPG experience to players.

Play as a governor of a brand-new settlement

The core of My Time at Evershine revolves around day-to-day tasks like farming, crafting, and building. As players arrive in the town of Evershine, they inherit a small farm and workshop that serves as their base of operations. From here, the player can cultivate crops, raise animals, gather resources, and craft various tools and materials to complete tasks or fulfill commissions from the town’s inhabitants.

One of the standout features is the dynamic world-building, where players' actions influence the development of the town. Exploration plays a significant role too, as players venture into nearby forests, mountains, and dungeons to gather resources and discover hidden treasures. Dungeons are well-designed, featuring puzzles and enemies that require both strategy and combat to overcome. This adds an exciting element of adventure to what might otherwise be a relaxing, slow-paced game.

Additionally, players can create everything from furniture and tools to entire buildings. There is also a character creation system that allows for detailed personalization of your avatar, from hairstyle and clothing to accessories. Even the ability to customize your home and farm with crafted decorations. However, as with many life simulation games, the core mechanics of farming, crafting, and completing quests can become repetitive over time.

Recruit settlers and build infrastructure

My Time at Evershine is a delightful and immersive life simulation that fans of the genre will thoroughly enjoy. With its balance of farming, crafting, and exploration, combined with the charm of a vibrant world and engaging townspeople, the game offers a captivating experience. Though it follows the formula set by its predecessors, this game builds on it with more polish, deeper mechanics, and a world full of heart.
