Monster Sweethearts is a dating simulation game developed by llonelly. After you got exposed to the existence of monsters, you are now unfortunately stuck in the rural area of Black Wood, planning the town’s Monster Sweetheart dance. In search of your possible date in the event, you will go through five different routes, which will enable you to encounter special ladies that probably be your end game—it all depends on your choices. You can enjoy playing this game as much as you like as it is free-of-charge, although it offers exclusive content for those who will support it financially.

Get-to-know the ladies deeply

In the entirety of this game, you will meet five unique and exceptional women that can easily capture your heart, namely, Lyell, Bae, Victoria, Xanthe, and Lien. Each one of them exudes distinct personalities and characteristics that you can observe through their habits and hobbies. For instance, Lyell is known as a trusted carpenter in their town. However, she always mysteriously takes a break from work every full moon. Bae, meanwhile,  is the fastest swimmer in the city of Black Wood who loves spending her leisure time by simply chilling out at the BlackWater lake while listening to music.

Unlike Bae, Victoria enjoys consuming her time as the most popular girl in their school at exclusive grand parties. But, somehow, she holds various secrets about her past. If there’s a chic boy among men, Xanthe is the chic girl among women as she probably dated almost every girl in school. Her next target is actually you. Finally, there is Lien, who holds a grudge for an unknown reason. There are two possible endings in each route. Whether it will end on a good or bad note, it’s all in your hands.

Although the game’s theme is a romantic love story, you should bear in mind that this dating sim game highly contains violence, horror, and gore aspects that can trigger, upset, or offend you in any way. Thus, you must heavily consider that when you are weighing options to download it or not. It also shows make-out sessions and kissing scenes but nothing any sexual 18+ content more than that.
