Overthrown is a game simulation where you can put up a kingdom in the wilderness using various resources that you can find in the expansive world. In this sandbox city-builder, you play as a Monarch with magical powers granted by an ancient soul-stealing crown. 

Overthrown provides sandbox-style, 3D graphics. It is set in an open world filled with enemies and resources and blends action and resource management elements. This is available for offline gaming but best played with friends of up to six players through the online co-op. A similar, alternative game to this is Fortnite.

Build a community 

Establish your own territory in Overthrown. You can do this by exploring the expansive world, gathering useful resources, and farming the land to establish a self-sufficient and self-sustaining kingdom. Be careful, though, as there are bandits and mutants lurking around. Use the ancient soul-stealing crown with mystical abilities to fend off external factions who would try to overthrow you from your land. 

Containing an element of builder games, this title allows you to be the architect of your own kingdom. Place certain buildings where they are deemed necessary. You do not need to worry about constructing structures in the wrong area because you can simply lift them and throw them somewhere else. Then, you can automate the citizens to do everything else. 

Survive harsh seasons, especially winter. This means you must properly manage your resources and stock enough food for the next season. One aspect that needs to be worked on, however, is the character customization, as the lack of it makes everyone in online co-op mode indistinguishable from one another. Additionally, it does not have full audio and subtitles for all the languages supported.

Fun blend of action and builder elements 

Overall, Overthrown is a fun game that combines elements of action and builder games, as it allows players to construct their kingdom and protect it from outside forces. Here, resources must be managed effectively to establish a self-sustaining kingdom and keep citizens happy. This can be played alone through offline gaming or with friends in online co-op mode. However, the game lacks character customization.
