Mirage Feathers is a single-player action game that lets you play as Notari, a cybernetic air superiority fighter of the Federation’s FEATHER program. In this game, you can acquire weapon specs from opponents, allowing for different main weapon options and playstyles. Developed by oyasumi Workshop, this anime-themed pseudo-3D rail shooter game is available on PC. 

Mirage Feathers is similar to games like Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls2, Nova Drift, Enter the Gungeon, and Eastward — wherein it gives players an action shooter gaming experience that blends exploration elements and visual novel. This game features variable combat styles, an AI companion, and scripted levels and character dialogues.

Help Notari find her best friend 

Mirage Feathers’s plot revolves around Notari’s journey as she looks for her best friend, Miroita, a nonplayable character. Whether the institute, the military, or the Federation itself took Miroita away, it doesn't matter, as Notari is desperate to fight anyone and let them pay. In this action shooter game, players take on the role of Notari with an AI companion created by Miroita called “Luciolla.”  

According to Luciolla, Miroita is still alive, and that is enough reason for Notari to live each day to the fullest, knowing Miroita is out there, waiting to see her once again. Here, players can engage in fast-paced combat, taking down waves of enemy aircraft. Additionally, they can utilize Notari’s advanced fire control system, which automatically locks onto targets when they cross the aiming reticle. 

Luciolla can acquire weapon specs as well from stronger opponents, allowing Notari’s additional main weapon options. FEATHERs can unleash incredible power too by initiating OVERDRIVE, where your weapons system can have upgraded performance. You can also choose between two modes: Story Mode, which has scripted levels, and Endless Mode, which has access to the full arsenal. However, in this game, noticing and predicting enemy missiles can be challenging at first.
