Similar to games like Darkest Dungeon and Until Dawn, Mage and Monsters also employs the element of permadeath. This mechanic determines that characters who have lost all of their health on the battlefield can no longer be revived or used to play again.

Visually, this title is a treat for the eyes. The meticulously designed arena and forest maps create stunning backdrops for the intense battles that unfold. With 30 normal levels and 5 challenging endgame levels on each map, the game offers a well-paced and satisfying progression curve. However, once you get past all of the available levels, there’s not much else to do in the game.
