Command an army of heroes in this strategic auto battler

Legionbound is a premium action game that puts you in charge of a massive, growing army. Instead of controlling just a single hero, you oversee a sprawling group of warriors facing endless waves of enemies. This party-based adventure centers on your ability to assemble a functional army that can survive increasingly difficult waves of enemies while you navigate various maps.

In Legionbound, every run presents fresh obstacles that force you to adapt your recruitment strategy and manage resources carefully. Whether you are holding a defensive line or pushing through hostile biomes, the scale of the encounters keeps the momentum high.

From small squad to massive legion

In Legionbound, you assemble a massive force to conquer high-difficulty encounters. The primary objective is to recruit 50 unique heroes and lead them through diverse maps to defeat the ultimate Endbringer boss. You manage team growth and tactical positioning, ensuring your fighters withstand the pressure of a roguelike run. It focuses heavily on large-scale army management rather than tedious individual unit control.

The gameplay centers on a refined auto-battler system where heroes fight automatically while you master tactical positioning and class-based synergies. You can shift units between rows and cast powerful spells to influence the tide of battle. Between runs, a detailed skill tree unlocks permanent upgrades to improve future attempts. In Adventure Mode, you also engage in base building to generate resources and prepare for massive boss fights.

Beyond combat, you spend significant time evolving subclasses to maximize legion efficiency through complex item stacks. You must balance passive bonuses carefully to ensure your specific build remains viable during grueling boss fights. Visually, the game serves as a nostalgic nod to retro fantasy classics with its pixel art graphics. While still in active development, a free demo version is available for those eager to test the mechanics.

Promising army builder

Legionbound looks promising for players who enjoy high-level strategy and massive team building. Although it is not fully released, the current systems showcase a satisfying sense of scale as you grow from a small group into a fifty-man army. The depth of the tactical layout and progression suggests it will be a solid choice for fans of strategic management once the full version officially launches.
