It’s a tower defense adventure set in a medieval fantasy world, wherein players must defend their kingdom against constant attacks from outside forces. From collecting resources in order to build structures and craft items, as well as training troops and putting up defenses against monster attacks from outside your walls. 

What makes Kingdom Quest interesting is the inclusion of heroes who will lead your men into battle and come with unique skills and attributes that change how you play. Invest in extensive talent trees and create unique builds that suit your playstyle. Open chests for powerful gear to help boost their powers and conduct research through the alchemy lab for upgrades to your city. 

A simple yet thoughtful feature is the ability to change camera perspectives, taking from the traditional top-down view to a behind-the-shoulder view to see the action up close and enhance immersion. That said, the overall visuals of the game are on the plain side and not particularly nice-looking. Also, on a side note, these types of games can get very grindy, and it is no exception. 

Interesting with a potential to be better 

All in all, Kingdom Quest Tower Defense TD has plenty of interesting things going for it, from being able to deploy heroes to lead your troops in defense to different character builds and the option to change perspectives. It could benefit from better graphics and more streamlined progression, but the core experience is good and can only improve over time.
