Kindled Cavern places you deep in the heart of cartoony cave of mystery. Using your VR controllers of choice, navigate your way through the caverns, tackling enemies and solving puzzles. Not to mention collecting gold as you go.

Look out for the Ghosts!

Kindled Cavern employs a slightly different way of navigating the virtual reality environment to most games with their "slide/dash" teleportation, though you can choose to use the more common "blink" teleportation. You will make your way through bamboo forests, over abandoned bridged, under waterfalls, and run into a number of ghosts that you will have to vanquish. The art style is very simplistic, however a generous helping of fog and subterranean gloom helps to create a cohesive atmosphere. The game is casual in nature, and should not be too difficult for most players. The game keeps time and score, and encourages you to play through multiple times to beat your previous play through.

A Bit Short

Kindled Cavern is interesting, atmospheric and intriguing. Unfortunately, it's also short. Even at the respectably low price point it is selling for, the game still feels like a demo from the old shareware days, rather than a fully fledged complete game. That said, it is a relaxing, casual experience. Certainly worth a look if you like puzzle games.
