A simplistic real-time strategy game

Ironwood Conquest is a strategy game developed and published by MrMero. It follows the same classic real-time strategy (RTS) formula as Warcraft and Age of Empires, wherein you build bases, manage resources, and then raise a grand army to wage war against your rivals.

Grow an army and head into battle

Ironwood Conquest is an RTS game set in the medieval ages. The gameplay concept is simple: Build a town, grow an army, and then fight your opponents in real-time strategy battles. You start by building farms and windmills for resources, and then later on barracks to train and produce soldiers.

If you’re a competitive player, you can compete against other players online and climb the ranks. For casual players, they can battle it out against AI-controlled opponents in missions. However, to get access to additional missions, you’re going to have to purchase them using real-life money.

A love letter to classic RTS games

Overall, Ironwood Conquest is a simple strategy game that isn’t too flashy. The graphics are minimal and mostly hand-drawn, but it still gives that charming feeling that classic RTS games back in the day used to have. It still provides a strong foundation for both competitive and casual play.
